Taylor,Vol.3,pp.666-690に対して、Augusta Ada King, Countess of Lovelace (1815–1852)が付した注である。
      　このNote Aの中のp.696でAdaが解析機関について、“the Analytical Engine weaves algebraical patterns just as the Jacquard-loom weaves flowers and leaves”という有名な文章を書き記している。
